To są powiązane sprawy. W sensie, większość spamu faktycznie wzięła się stąd, że ten jeden gościu rozpropagował pomysł spamowania w ten sposób.
Tyle że to w sumie nie ma aż takiego znaczenia: duża korporacja robi sobie promocję kosztem maintainerów projektów FLOSS, a gdy jakieś gówno trafia na wiatrak -- odruchowa reakcja jest taka, że umywają ręce i udają, że to nie ich problem.

Tyle że w sumie co z tego -- za rok jakieś inne korpo wpadnie na podobny pomysł, i znów zarobieni maintainerzy będą musieli ogarniać spam, jakby nie mieli nic lepszego do roboty.
