Dear Hackerspace,
Byłem rok temu raz na Hackerspace. Teraz będę często w Warszawie bo moja narzeczona, Asia, jest Polką i ona mieszka tutaj. Chciałbym móc pracować i poznawać ludzie zainteresowani techniką i ciekawymi projektami. Więc chcę zostać członkiem. Jak mogę płaćić, jeśli nie mam polskiego konta? Może być, że będę mieć czas dziś wieczorem odwiedzać Hackerspace, ale jeszcze nie wiem.
I was once at the Hackerspace a year ago. How I will be in Warsaw often because my fiancee, Asia, is Polish and she lives here. I would like to be able to work and meet people interested in technology and exciting projects. So I want to become a member. How can I pay, if I don't have a Polish bank account? It may be that I will have time to visit Hackerspace this evening, but I don't know yet.
Dziękuję/Thank you Chris

Hi, this topic looks like it belongs to the Warsaw Hackerspace mailing list ( waw@lists.hackerspace.pl ) more than the general one.
In general to become a member it's enough to come to our space, fill out a form and issue monthly payments to our bank account - but I suppose that would incur unnecessary charges for you since it would be an overseas transfer. If you have some time it would probably be best if you came over so we could work something out, any Thursday evening is a good bet since it's almost certain someone from the board will be there.

It's worth mentioning that the membership fee need not be paid from your personal account (or, in fact, any account formally connected to you in any way). Anyone you trust with your money who has a banking account in Poland - for example, your fiancee - can pay the fee in your name. In fact, we don't even check the origin of incoming payments, we identify them solely based on the title of the transfer, which indicates the nickname of a member, month (or months) paid for and membership type.

You can do a payment at post office. If you ask your fiancee Asia, she will tell you how I guess. It is called "wpłata na konto bankowe".
